The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Golf team began their 2015-2016 season with an outstanding victory in the Bill Sergent Invitational at Crooked Creek Golf Course. At the end of the two-day event, the Patriots held a total score of 570 (-6), finishing 11 strokes ahead of second place Cumberland University.

The academic honors' president's list for the spring 2015 semester has been announced by Dr. Frank Cheatham, Campbellsville University's senior vice president for academic affairs.

The academic honors' dean's list for the spring 2015 semester has been announced by Dr. Frank Cheatham, Campbellsville University's senior vice president for academic affairs.

During UC's annual commencement ceremony on May 9th, 815 degrees were conferred. Two- hundred and thirty students earned an undergraduate degree and 585 students earned a graduate degree.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

University of the Cumberlands presented Melissa Faye Roark with the Angel Unaware Award during the Annual Honors Day program.

Dr. Donna Hedgepath, dean of the Campbellsville University School of Education, told the School of Education graduates God has a purpose and plan for their lives at the group's recent pinning and hooding of graduates in Campbellsville Baptist Church.

CU graduated 152 master's students Friday night, May 2, 2014, in Ransdell Chapel, with 264 graduates Saturday morning, May 3, for a total of 416 students receiving their diplomas upon completion of all academic requirements. In CU's December commencement, 196 received their diplomas for a total of 612 students in this year's graduating class of 2013-2014.

Campbellsville University bestowed degrees on a record-breaking number of graduates, 597, for the 2011-12 academic year. In ceremonies Friday, May 4, there were 132 students who received master's degrees and 248 undergraduates received their degrees on Saturday, May 5, for a total of 380 in the May ceremony.
